Jeanne Hallman is the wife of Pastor Tom Hallman, they have 2 sons., Patrick and Matthew. "Having attended church every week of my life until my 30's, I never understood what being 'born again' was about or who Jesus is or what He had said. I had never read the bible myself, but relied on stories told by others, and prayed a few prayers here and there. I made all my own plans and never considered God: His ways or His plans that He might have for me. But that all changed in 1991, I became born-again and began a new life in Jesus Christ. My salvation came by an answered prayer of Godly grandparents and by the grace of God who revealed Jesus to me. Today, my single passion and one desire is to be where Jesus is and to be well pleasing to the Father. My joy is sharing Jesus with the women and teaching them how to hear His voice alone and to follow hard after him. Jesus has become my joy and my life; and together we can praise Him!"

Keith hails from Brooklyn, NY, the oldest of four brothers. He retired from the U.S. Marine Corps in 1997 as a Gunnery Sergeant. He served as a Detachment Commander in charge of American Embassy Security in Norway and Africa. Keith met his wife Gladys, a U.S. Marine Sergeant while on duty in Pennsylvania. They have been married over 30 years; have 3 children and 4 grandchildren.Keith was raised Catholic but hungered for more of God and left the Catholic Church early in his military career. Excepting the Lord’s free gift of eternal life in 1979, Keith served in several churches stateside and abroad. His love for Jesus and the Word led him to Calvary Chapel Philadelphia, where he sat under the teaching of Joe Focht. Keith felt a calling on his life to minister to youth, and while serving at Calvary Chapel Newport News he was given the divine opportunity to serve in that capacity.Today’s youth are the leaders of tomorrow’s church. They must be taught the Word of God and held accountable to its standards. Teaching our youth is an awesome responsibility and he feels humbled and honored to serve them by sharing the Gospel at ever opportunity.Keith's Favorite Scripture:"Let not your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father's house are many mansons; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you, I will come again, and recieve you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also." John 14:1-3

Thank You! We want to hear from you! Get connected & listen to the Word... Missions | Missions Partners Calvary Colonial Kids Tom Hallman is a native southern Californian and grew up during the "70's" generation. Although born in 1960, Tom experienced southern California in the way many did. He surfed the beaches of Calfornia and skied the mountains in the High Sierras. Living a life and growing up in the Catholic religion, Tom went to Catholic High School and ultimately graduated from California State University at Fullerton. Tom met his bride (Jeanne) and was married and has two boys (Patrick & Matthew). After becoming dissillusioned with Catholisim, he went to a Calvary Chapel in Corona California and he and Jeanne were saved. This began a life in Jesus Christ and Tom has never looked back. After serving for over 13 years at Calvary Chapel Livingwater, the Lord put it on Tom's heart to get better equipped for the Lord, his pastor and his church; and he applied for and was accepted at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa's School of Ministry (a two-year full-time school). It was here Tom received the teachings from Pastor's Chuck Smith, Carl Westerlund, Brian Broderson and Jon Courson. At CCCM SoM, Tom received and was blessed by many of the classes and assignments given. Tom graduated in the class of 2005 and from there he and his family were sent out. It was actually during the first year of school Tom began to hear the Lord in a most powerful way. The Lord began to place on Tom's heart to "serve Him" in a different way, a way that Tom was not accustomed to...as an "under-sheperd" for Jesus. Tom heard the voice of the Lord telling him to "check out" the State of Virginia...he did and after several trips with his pastor and Jeanne and the boys...they sold everything and moved to a place they never knew existed...Williamsburg. Tom and his family have adjusted well to living in Williamsburg and in Virginia, making many new friends and family in the church. The Lord is very faithful to plant His sheperds in the places He needs them to be. Ptom's (as we call him) favorite verse is: John 15:9 - "As the Father loved Me, i also have loved you; abide in My love" (nkjv)Now that you know a little about our Pastor....here's something from him...Hey there everyone! I'm so blesssed you actually got this far in the reading of my bio...i wanted to let you know from my heart that the Lord has planted me here with calling to minister to those who are lost and those "lost in religion." The Lord has given me this ministry to Encourage, Equip, and Educate those for the purpose of Spiritual Growth and Maturity in Christ. I'm excited and encouraged for what the Lord is doing now...and what He will do in the future!Be blessed! Ptom

History of Calvary Chapel Tom Hallman| Sr. Pastor

Founder, Pastor Chuck Smith In 1965, Pastor Chuck Smith began his ministry at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa. Only twenty-five people attended. What began as a small chapel has now grown into a church that seats over 2000 and is filled almost nightly. From the beginning, Pastor Chuck welcomed all, young and old, without judgment, placing his emphasis on the teaching of the Word of God. His simple, yet sound, biblical approach draws 25,000 people weekly. With a sincere concern for the lost, Pastor Chuck made room in his heart and his home for a generation of hippies and surfers; generating a movement of the Holy Spirit that spread from the West Coast to the East Coast, bringing thousands of young people to Jesus Christ.

History of Calvary Chapel Bible We believe that the Bible is the true and perfect word of God, written through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit as a manual for Christian living. (2 Tim 3:16-17)GodWe believe that God is a triune, eternally existent, unchangeable, all-knowing, all-powerful, everywhere present and personal God who is Holy, Just, Righteous, Loving, Merciful, Gracious and Good.Man & SinWe believe that man has been created in the image of God, that he has fallen from his original perfection and now has a sinful nature that affects every part of him. (Gen 1:26-28,Gen 3,Rom 3)Jesus ChristWe believe that Jesus Christ is fully God and fully human, that He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, paid for our sins by His death on the cross, was bodily raised from the dead, ascended back to the right hand of the Father, and ever lives to make intercession for us. Salvation is only found in Jesus Christ.Holy SpiritWe believe that the Holy Spirit is God, that he is a necessary part of salvation and indwells all who are born again. We believe that He empowers us and gives us spiritual gifts to serve God. We believe that the Holy Spirit is given to all who ask and the evidence of His work in our life is Love. (John 3, John 14:16-17, John 16:5-15, Gal 5, Rom 8)Angels & DemonsWe believe that angels are spiritual beings created by God to worship and serve Him. We believe that Satan and the demons are angels that have fallen because of their rebellion against God. (Ps 148:1-5, Col 1:16, Isaiah 14, Rev 12)End TimesWe believe that we are living in the last days and that the church will be caught up to meet the Lord in the air before the seven year tribulation period when God’s wrath will be poured out upon the earth. We believe that the 2nd Coming of Jesus will take place at the end of the tribulation when He will setup His kingdom on earth for 1000 years. After this will be the Great White Throne judgment and those not written in the book of life are cast into the Lake of Fire. Those who are born again will enter into eternity with God. (1 Th 4:17, Rev 6-22)HOW TO KNOW GOD1. Realize that you are a sinner. No matter how good a life we try to live, we still fall miserably short of being a good person. That is because we are all sinners. We all fall short of God’s desire for us to be holy. The Bible says, “No one is good—not even one” (Romans 3:10 NLT). This is because we can not become who we are supposed to be without Jesus Christ.2. Recognize that Jesus Christ died on the cross for you.The Bible tells us, “But God showed His great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while were still sinners” (Romans 5:8 NLT). This is the Good News, that God loves us so much that He sent His only Son to die in our place when we least deserved it.3. Repent of your sin.The Bible tells us to “repent and be converted” (Acts 3:19 NKJV). The word repent means to change our direction in life. Instead of running from God, we can run toward Him.4. Receive Jesus Christ into your life.Becoming a Christian is not merely believing some creed or going to church on Sunday. It is having Christ Himself take residence in your life and heart. Jesus said, “Behold, I stand at the door (of your life) and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in . . . .” (Revelation 3:20 NKJV).If you would like to have a relationship with Christ, simply pray this prayer and mean it in your heart.Dear Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner. I believe you died for my sins. Right now, I turn from my sins and open the door of my heart and life. I confess you as my personal Lord and Savior. Thank you for saving me. Amen.If you just prayed that prayer and meant it, Jesus Christ has now taken residence in your heart! Your decision to follow Christ means God has forgiven you and that you will spend eternity in heaven. The Bible tells us, “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9 NKJV).To put your faith in action, be sure to spend time with God by reading your Bible, praying, going to church, and telling others about Christ. Call the church office at (209) 545-5530 and ask to speak with one of our pastors about your new life in Christ

Pastor Tom and his wife, Jeanne served at Calvary Chapel LivingWater in Corona, California for 13 years. As the Lord was challenging Tom to take steps of faith including leaving his career as a mortgage broker and enter the Lord's ministry full-time; God continued to challenge Tom to step out of his comfort zone. It is at this time, the Lord placed a desire on his heart to serve God's people outside of California. The Lord took hold of their hearts led them to Williamsburg, Virginia. Since then, God has established Calvary Chapel in the most historic area of the United States of America! Pastor Tom and his family are very blessed and humbled to be here in Virginia serving God!For Pastor Tom's complete testimony, listen to his audio message entitled "CCW Beginnings" located on this website in the "Audio & Video" section of this website.
